"Acorn Lake"
Couldn't load pickup availability
Wood ducks have earned the nickname "acorn duck." While they eat a variety of plants and insects, like primrose duckweed, and berries, seen here, they consider acorns the best treat of all! The wood duck is one of my all-time favorites. Seeing them in the wild always elicits the characteristic "oohs" and "ahhs" of a true nature nerd.
